The statue to the left of the door is of St John the Baptist. This statue came from the now demolished St Andrews Church, which once stood near what is now the end of Pelham Bridge in Lincoln.

To the right of the entrance is a stone statue of the Blessed Virgin. This was a gift from the nearby Roman Catholic Church. This is just one example of the way in which churches on the Ermine estate work together.
